Day 1: September 16, 2018

Upon arriving at Beijing International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and then transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and get ready for a “Meet and Greet” dinner for friends from all over the world – 14 days of fun together!

Day 2: September 17, 2018

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square- the biggest city central square in the world, with an area of about 44 hectares which can accommodate one million people.

Then explore the incredible Forbidden City with its best-preserved imperial palace complex. Later visit the Chinese Herbal Institute to learn about traditional Chinese medicine.

After all this walking, get to enjoy a rejuvenating foot massage which has existed for thousands of years.

Explore Hutong, the old town of Beijing on man-powered pedicab to experience how natives live in their traditional lifestyle. Step into one of the local Siheyuan courtyard housesto learn how to make Chinese dumplings and enjoy a real typical homemade lunch.

End the day with a walk around the Lotus Market.

Day 3: September 18, 2018

After breakfast, explore the Juyongguan Great Wall, one of the 'New 7 Wonders of the World'. You will hike along the Great Wall. On the way, visit a Jade Store. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as 'Yu', and it has a history of at least four thousand years.

After dinner, get ready to enjoy a thrilling performance - Golden Mask Dynasty Show.

Day 4: September 19, 2018

After breakfast, take an early flight to Shanghai. Transfer to Suzhou, 2 hours, depending on the traffic by bus.

The city, dates back to 514 BC, sometimes called the "Venice of the East".

Lunch will be in the beautiful setting of Lanli Garden, where you could treasure the history of the exotic silk embroidery.

Visit the Garden of Master of the Nets – one of the top 4 Classical Gardens in the whole country, the most delicate landscaped garden in Suzhou.

A visit to Shantang street, a very old well preserved walkway that will take you back thousands of years!

A Boat ride on the Grand Canal, after which we have dinner close to the bustle of this place to flavour the whole ambience.

Suzhou • Wuxi

Day 5: September 20, 2018

Today you will visit one of the oldest Silk Spinning Factory to enjoy the demonstration of silk making, after which we will have lunch and go to Wuxi. Wuxi is an ancient city richly endowed with nature due to its pleasantly warm and moist climate – it boasts a reputation of being called the “Land of Fish and Rice”.

A Visit to theYixingTeapotMuseum, a must see in Wuxi. These teapots are well known all over China for their elegant design and unique tea brewing qualities. We then go for a stroll on the famous Nanchang street.

Day 6: September 21, 2018

After breakfast, enjoy the scenery as we pass by LakeTai, the third-largest freshwater lake in China. Visit theLihu Park, and the largest Fresh Water Pearl Center. After lunch we drive to Hangzhou, one of the six ancient capital cities, the hometown for green tea and Ali Baba!

Take a painted boat on West Lake- the most famous attraction in Hangzhou. West Lake was man-made and created after the Chinese love story called “The Legend of the white Snake”

Day 7: September 22, 2018

After breakfast , morning starts with an educational stop for a taste of Dragon Well Tea at the Longjing Green Tea village. From Hangzhou, drive back to Shanghai (3 Hours), the largest city by population in China. Appreciate the scenery by walking alongthe Bund, a mile-long stretch along the Huangpu River. This area is the best place to capture the western influence of the Anglo French, since the 1920’s.

After dinner we take a Cruise on the Huangpu River. While on the cruise, you can see the old and new side of Shanghai and also get an outside view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, the modern symbol of Shanghai City.

Day 8: September 23, 2018

After Breakfast we visit the Peoples Square which used to be the horse race track under the British. We visit the Shanghai museum one of the 24 best Museums in the world!

After lunch take the Shanghai maglev train, the fastest train in the world with the unbelievable top speed of 431km per hour, taking only 7 minutes and 21seconds for each ride. It is the only super high-speed bullet train with Magnetic technology in operation in the world. Shop till you drop at knock-off underground market for your last minute shopping before exploring the famousXintiandi, a stylish pedestrian street composed of Shikumen architecture & modern complexin a formal French Concession.

Day 9: September 24, 2018

After breakfast, fly toYichang, the starting point of your Yangtze River Cruise. After lunch on own, we board the luxury Yangtze Cruise.

After a relaxing dinner on board, settle into your cabins for a 3 day adventure on the famous Yangtze of China.

Day 10: September 25, 2018

Your highly anticipated grand Yangtze River adventure starts this morning. The 6300km long Yangtze is the longest river in China, flowing through eleven provinces. Its river basin covers a fifth of the country's territory. One out of every three Chinese people live on the Yangtze.

As Yangtze was the emerging place for Chinese civilization, there are so many historical and cultural heritage sites along the river. The ship's first stop is at Taipingxi (or Sandouping). Disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project, the world's largest dam, measuring 606 feet high and 6,500 feet long. Re-embark the ship and sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest of the Three Gorges at 41 miles long and also the highest (4000 feet).

Yangtze River Cruise

Day 11: September 26, 2018

Early risers can start the day with traditional Tai Chi lesson before breakfast. Enjoy a relaxing scenic cruising or attend the informative lectures and cultural programs. Qutang Gorge is the shortest and narrowest one of the three. Wu Gorge is the most attractive gorge famous for forest-covered sheer cliffs and 12 peaks. Xiling Gorge is the first gorge you will pass through and it is the longest and the deepest among the three. Today the shore excursion is Lesser Three Gorges or Shen Nong Stream (Depending on the water conditions).

Day 12: September 27, 2018

Today we continue sailing upstream the mighty Yangtze .The day’s shore excursion will be Feng Du Ghost City or Shibaozhai (Subject to navigation authority).

Tonight the ship’s Farewell Party invites you to join a performance by the cruise staff.

Day 13: September 28, 2018

After breakfast, disembark and bid farewell to our warm and friendly crew. Coming to China is not complete without saying “Hello” to the giant Panda! So it will be a day with the Pandas and the traditional Chongqing Hot Pot lunch! After lunch transfer to the Airport for Beijing.

Day 14: September 29, 2018

All too soon it is time to leave China with a flood of colourful memories to last you a lifetime! After breakfast, check- out from hotel, transfer to international airport, Beijing to take the flight back home!
